A little bit about me…

I'm deeply involved in bringing the culinary creations of some of Britain’s most beloved TV chefs to our screens. With a background as a home economist and stylist, I've been privileged to contribute to some of the UK's most prominent cooking shows. My love for all things culinary extends to sharing my expertise through engaging cookery demonstrations, innovative recipe development, and captivating food writing. Additionally, I take joy in assisting families with their dining dilemmas, whether it's crafting weekly menus, planning memorable gatherings, or stocking their freezers with delicious meals. My wealth of knowledge enables me to offer imaginative ideas and practical solutions, inspiring everyone to embrace the joy of cooking and savouring wholesome dishes.

A workspace with a laptop, an open notebook with a pen on top, a tray with a mug, a glass jar with flowers, and a small jar with a dark lid, all set on a wooden table near a window.

My culinary journey began amidst the serene landscapes of the Kent countryside, where my family ran a Fish Farm. Surrounded by the sights, smells, and tastes of fresh produce, I cultivated a profound connection with food and the art of cooking. Despite embarking on a career in the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry initially, my unwavering passion for food eventually led me to pursue formal training as a chef at Leith’s.

During summers spent at our family restaurant on the Fish Farm, I honed my skills in a professional kitchen, soaking up knowledge and experience. I further enriched my culinary repertoire with stints at renowned establishments like Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant. My culinary philosophy revolves around the essence of simplicity and the celebration of flavors using the finest, freshest ingredients available. I hold a special passion for involving children in the culinary process, nurturing their curiosity and appreciation for good food.

I have appeared on Channel 4’s 'Tried and Tasted – the Ultimate Shopping List,' where I engaged in blind taste tests alongside esteemed food experts such as Michel Roux Jr, Jay Rayner, and Giles Coren. Additionally, I've been featured on the BBC’s 'Eat Well For Less,' where I encouraged viewers to embrace the art of cooking fish at home with confidence.

I find great joy in residing in the picturesque Sussex countryside, where I relish the abundance of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Alongside my cherished companions - my husband, daughter, and our mischievous dog - I enjoy the simple pleasures of countryside living.
